This engine was designed for extreme competition, or hardcore weekenders.
It is ported full mod style which offers huge increases of power everywhere.
The engine can pull large props to very high speeds.
Once you master it, the fun in handling the engines performance cannot be matched.
The more you throw at it, the more it responds.
The characteristics are huge low to mid range torque with a power curve that hits hard, climbs fast and revs high.
This engine has a Zenoah 1mm crank, fully modified crankcases, beautifully hand-ported cylinder, and a milled, modified and lightened piston.
Our Full Mod WT-1048 is designed by us from 25 years of fuel system development in motocross, speedway, jet skis, automotive and heavy haulage. The carburettor is heavily modified in every area, including venturi, fuel pump, throttle bore, throttle shaft and bore. The Full Mod Flywheel is lightened to increase acceleration and improve balance.
Also included is our new RTE Full Mod Crankshaft Seal Arrangement. We have designed a new seal to stop vacuum leaks which cause high rpm lean conditions.

Engine Upgrade Options
ANIMAL
When you upgrade to the ANIMAL version of this engine, it is comparable to installing a super charger!
Additional aggressive porting in the cases and cylinder, and the piston is upgraded further for high rpm oil stability.
The crankshaft is modified, and the intake system is enhanced even further. The carburettor venturi is 25% larger again, and the RTE Raptor Manifold isolator is modified further to accommodate the extra air volume.
